SOS provided training to local law enforcement from April 18 to 20. During 3 separate sessions, SOS hosted officers from Emporia Police Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Emporia State Police & Safety. Officers learned about the services that advocates provide to members of our community and creating community collaboration between community partners that help serve client needs.
SOS partners with many local businesses, organizations, and agencies to better support the local community and our clients, and we provide trainings, educational programs, and community presentations to schools, organizations, and businesses.
