Members of ESU's Phi Delta Theta fraternity stopped by the SOS office on Monday, November 14 to present a check for donations received during the annual Pole Sit fundraiser during ESU Homecoming. 2022 is Phi Delta Theta's 37th Pole Sit event, and like in previous years, members of Phi Delta Theta braved the cold for 24 hours to raise funds through bucket and online donations. This year $7,451.17 was raised, helped by a generous matching gift from Emporia Masonic Lodge #12 for $2000. According to Phi Delta Theta, donations were received from not only Emporia and Kansas, but from many other states as well.
